Home Depot Services Endcap
Everyone knows you can find home improvement hardware and fixtures at Home Depot, but not everyone is aware they offer services to connect customers to local contractors for installation and repair. First Person partnered with Zivelo on an in-store interactive experience for Home Depot designed to increase awareness of these services. Installed at the aisle endcaps near areas of heavy traffic, the Services Endcap Experience is designed to be an approachable and intuitive way to connect customers with local authorized contractors.
Customers were drawn in by an attract loop and invited to explore five areas of the home through basic touchpoints. As they move through the different areas they can inspect specific services like window or gas range installation and connect with contractors by simple entering their phone number.

ROLE: ART DIRECTION / DESIGN / ANIMATION
The experience uses high quality 3D pre-rendered video to visualize the different areas of the home. Loops and transitions were all designed to allow users to move between areas with ease, fading out parts of the home to allow visibility inside like a dollhouse.
The front exterior, rear exterior, basement, main interior, kitchen, and bathroom were all designed to contain the many categories of services offered.
A lot of time was spent thinking about the style and architecture of the home. It need to feel aspirational but not out of reach, and a style with some universal appeal so customers of all tastes could project their dream homes ideals onto it like a template.
